Shooting list

In order to ensure taht my filming sessions go as smoothly as possible, and to get onto paper more than possible ro practical using a storyboard,i have created a "shooting list" for each of the various narratives. Although I likely not use every shot I capture, I will gatehr as much footage as possible (perhaps a few takes of each shot listed), aswell as more spontaneous shots, to ensure that I have choice when editing, and have the otpion to add more footage should I need to.

Narrative 3

Ill woman and her husband

  • At first presented as a normal, working mother
  • Doesn't seem well-completing daily tasks but unsettled
  • In fact takes tablets-is seriously unwell
  • hugs from husband
  • Sets off to hospital-shots in the car
  • Approaches hospital and chemotherapy unit
  • Goes into doctors, and as tune picks up squeezes husbands hand
  • Is given the all clear and is overjoyed
  • Goes home-shots out of the window (similar to those in Emilie sane-my kind of love)
  • Greets children happily
  • In final scene goes back to sleep

Costume: Natural, motherly, quite 'day time like' with husband having a similar trend. Coats, scarfs ect. at hospital to represent vulnerability

Inspiration: Inspirational, in times of trouble stay strong and perhaps prompts audience to reflect on their own life/value it.

Narrative 2

Abused, pregnant girl

  • At first seems happy in normal relationship
  • Slowly goes wrong and then is beaten/abused/locked in a room
  • Scared, frightened and alone
  • Unwell
  • Sneaks out of house to get a pregnancy test
  • Perhaps collides with boy in other narrative stealing?
  • As music picks up, realises that she's pregnant
  • Packs a suitcase, runs away and leavesLast seen at mothers front door
  • Shes seen sense and is happy again with a new hope

Costume: At first young, youth full innocent and girly but slowly deteriorates until she is left with a hooded top on. When she runs away and sees sense she picks up a bit

Interpretation: there is not time to be down when there is hope of a new life, stresses the importance of family and to be brave whilst tackling issues of abuse, pregnancy and perhaps even drugs.

Narrative 1

Bullied teenage boy

  • Happier shots at the start, showing a much happier Josh
  • Shots emphasising sisters close bond
  • Bullied online-looking through nasty posts
  • Runs away from home, and close-up of running down street
  • Possibly steals
  • Gets the metro train
  • Ends up in a forrest or lonely setting-crying
  • At the climax of the video is saved by sister who finds nasty posts
  • Takes home and cheers up-perhaps with food or chat
  • Emphasis on family, and the issues of crime/poverty/bullying arise
Costume: Warm clothing, the idea that he's quite dysfunctional and doesn't really 'fit in' should be apparent.
Interpretation of the song: Needs to stay strong, the lyrics of the song are mirrored in his sisters close relationship and and message she is trying to portray to her brother.
